About

Naturally, I am a horror fanatic. I love Halloween, haunted houses, and generally all things spooky, but I’m not your typical horror fan. There was a time that I had sworn off horror. Books, films, all of it. Why? Because I was terrified! To some degree, I still am. I still get shivers over whispers in the dark, or a shadowy figure at the edge of my vision. However, even through the fear, I have always found it all fascinating. You’ve undoubtedly heard the phrase, “like a car crash.” Well, that was the case for me. I couldn’t look away, no matter how frightened I was. The only difference is that now I actually enjoy it.

Still, even my love for horror falls second to my love of a good story. I love to read them, watch them, and most of all, tell them. I was always that kid in school who’d get excited when a teacher assigned the class a writing prompt. It was actually one of these prompts that led to me crafting my first horror story. I’ve had more stories to tell ever since, and now, fifteen years later at the time of writing this, I am finally starting to share those stories.

As for the man behind the macabre, I am an active member and supporter of the haunted attraction industry. I’m a native of northern Indiana, where I currently still live with my wife and son. In my free time, I am an avid gamer, fencer, and martial artist. I am also a lover of music in all of its forms, from Johnny Cash to Marilyn Manson, from soundtracks to rap, from…you get the idea. In fact, music is my chief source of inspiration, particularly the works of Midnight Syndicate. Without their Gothic orchestral soundscapes, none of the stories you are here for would exist.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in this pursuit. My friends, my family, my wife and son…but most of all, you, dear reader. Thank you for wanting to hear my tales. I hope you find in them all the thrills, chills, and nightmares you are looking for.

Stay scary, my friends!
